Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead the procurement team in sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure best value for goods and services.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring compliance with quality standards, pricing, delivery terms, and service levels.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favourable terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve any issues, and implement strategies to improve supplier quality and service.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to optimize procurement processes without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and secure competitive pricing and preferred terms.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or other relevant fields
- Candidates from MNC, Luxury, or Hospitality industry has an added advantage
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement operations and delivering cost savings in a hospitality environment.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the aptitude to lead and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Good command of English and Cantonese
