Our client is a luxury department store headquarters that is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Training and Development Senior Manager to join their corporate team. About the Role:
Our client is a luxury department store headquarters that is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Training and Development Senior Manager to join their corporate team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all training and development initiatives for our retail store associates, managers, and corporate staff across our growing luxury brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs across the organization and develop comprehensive training plans and curricula to address skill gaps
- Create engaging, best-in-class training programs and content that align with our luxury brand ethos and customer service standards
- Implement and manage the delivery of training programs through online learning platforms, in-person workshops, and on-the-job coaching
- Partner with department heads to customize training for specific roles and business units
- Measure the impact and effectiveness of training initiatives and continuously optimize programs
- Lead and develop a high-performing training and development team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, merchandising, and operations to drive a culture of continuous learning
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in retail learning and development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in training, talent development or learning management, preferably within a luxury retail environment
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering highly engaging and impactful training programs
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to measure training effectiveness
- Experience leading and developing a team of training professionals
- Proven track record of successfully implementing innovative training solutions
- Passion for luxury retail and a commitment to exceptional customer service
