Our client, a leading insurance organization, is seeking a forward-thinking Director, Business Transformation & Innovation to drive enterprise-wide transformation across the Life & Health business.
This role will spearhead AI-led innovation, digital enablement, and operational transformation, leveraging advanced technologies such as automation, analytics, and Generative AI to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and business growth.

Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise-wide process optimization and digital enablement initiatives within Life & Health insurance.
- Implement AI and automation frameworks (e.g., RPA, intelligent automation) to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
- Establish data-driven performance tracking through KPIs, dashboards, and analytics tools.
- Lead the identification, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions (e.g., automation, predictive analytics, GenAI) across L&H value chains.
- Translate AI capabilities into practical, scalable business use cases, including underwriting, claims, customer servicing, and distribution.
- Drive innovation initiatives to improve decision-making, personalization, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with technology and data teams to embed AI into core business processes and customer journeys.
- Lead end-to-end transformation programs, focusing on modernization of operations, platforms, and processes.
- Align transformation initiatives with strategic priorities, regulatory requirements, and market trends
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on AI, digital strategy, and transformation roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Underwriting, Claims, IT, Data, and Distribution.
- Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field.
- 15+ years of working experience in the insurance industry, with strong exposure to Life and Health insurance products, distribution models, and regulatory environments.
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or Agile (e.g., SAFe, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master) are required.
- Deep understanding of AI capabilities (including automation, advanced analytics, and Generative AI) with the ability to apply them to drive business outcomes
- Proven track record in leading complex, cross-functional transformation portfolios with multiple vendors and delivery models.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and align senior stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, Mandarin would be an advantage.
