This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of corporate communications, brand positioning, media engagement, and strategic business growth, responsible for shaping how the company is represented across business, financial, broadcast, and crypto media in the region.

The Opportunity

You'll play a central role in defining and executing the company's APAC communications agenda, serving as the senior communications lead for the region while partnering closely with global and local stakeholders. This position requires a highly entrepreneurial communications leader with strong media instincts, excellent judgment, and the ability to translate business priorities into compelling narratives that drive reputation, visibility, and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the APAC communications strategy across priority markets, ensuring alignment with wider global brand and PR objectives.
  • Serve as the senior communications partner to regional leadership, working closely with marketing, product, legal, compliance, and country teams on strategic announcements and reputation management.
  • Build, manage, and optimize a high-performing regional communications function, including oversight of external PR agencies and market-specific partners.
  • Leverage a strong network of media relationships across Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and broader APAC to secure high-impact coverage across top-tier business, financial, broadcast, and crypto publications.
  • Develop compelling storylines, executive messaging, press materials, and campaign narratives that support corporate, product, and partnership initiatives.
  • Act as a key contributor to the global communications team, helping localize and amplify international campaigns across APAC markets.
  • Drive PR activation around major brand partnerships, sponsorships, and ecosystem initiatives to increase market visibility and support user growth.
  • Track, analyze, and report on media performance, ensuring communications outcomes support broader commercial and reputational objectives.
Ideal Background

We're looking for a senior communications and PR leader with around 12–15 years of experience across financial services, fintech, technology, or digital assets, with prior crypto exposure highly preferred. You will likely bring a strong record of leading multi-market communications programs, managing senior stakeholders, and delivering top-tier media outcomes across APAC in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Deep relationships with business, financial, broadcast, and crypto media across the region will be essential, alongside strong leadership capability, commercial judgment, and the confidence to operate autonomously. Experience in investment or financial communications, agency management, and cross-functional regional leadership will be highly valued, while fluency in English is required and additional Asian language capability would be advantageous.
