Head of Marketing, Institutional
We are partnering with a leading global digital asset platform to identify a Head of Institutional Marketing. The company is a well-established player in the crypto space, offering a comprehensive suite of trading and asset solutions, with a strong and growing institutional client base across key global markets.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can bridge traditional finance and Web3, and drive strategic marketing initiatives targeting sophisticated institutional investors.
What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive institutional marketing strategy to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion among sophisticated investors
  • Craft and refine the brand narrative, translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for institutional audiences
  • Lead thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, research reports, opinion pieces, and executive content
  • Represent the firm at high-profile industry events, including conferences, roundtables, and private client engagements; speak on panels and build senior-level relationships
  • Oversee the creation of institutional-grade marketing materials such as pitch decks, fact sheets, and case studies, while managing communications with financial media
  • Partner with growth teams to optimize digital channels (LinkedIn, X, newsletters) for institutional lead generation and nurturing
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Development to align marketing initiatives with pipeline goals and revenue outcomes
What You’ll Need
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on financial services (investment banking, asset management, or fintech), including at least 2 years in Web3 / crypto / blockchain
  • Proven experience marketing to institutional or accredited investors, with a deep understanding of their investment frameworks and compliance considerations
  • Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, DeFi, staking, custody solutions, and the broader digital asset landscape
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, professional messaging
  • Strong executive presence, with confidence engaging C-level stakeholders, fund managers, and institutional clients
  • Established network within the institutional investment community is highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA is a strong advantage
