About the client
Our client is a leading global player in the digital assets and Web3 space, currently expanding its regional footprint and strengthening its team in Abu Dhabi. They are looking for a commercially minded HR Business Partner who can support senior stakeholders, provide practical human advisory, and stay close enough to the business to influence both day-to-day decisions and longer-term people strategy.

This is not a purely traditional HRBP role. The successful candidate will need to balance strategic thinking with execution, working closely with leaders on organisation design, team effectiveness, performance, and business rhythms such as goal setting and OKR management.

Job Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with business leaders and managers to understand business priorities, team challenges, and capability needs
  • Provide proactive HR advisory across employee relations, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and retention
  • Support leaders in setting, tracking, and reviewing team OKRs, ensuring people priorities are aligned with wider business objectives
  • Use OKR and business performance discussions to identify organisation gaps, team effectiveness issues, and talent risks
  • Drive workforce planning, organisation design, and headcount planning in line with Product roadmap and business growth
  • Coach managers on leadership effectiveness, team management, performance conversations, and decision-making
  • Work closely with stakeholders on performance calibration, promotion reviews, and high-potential talent planning
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to attract and onboard strong talents
  • Analyse people data and team trends to provide practical recommendations on engagement, performance, structure, and productivity
Skills and requirements
  • 10+ years of HRBP experience, ideally within fast-paced technology, internet, fintech, or crypto environments
  • Prior experience supporting Product, Technology, or Engineering or Back office populations are all welcome
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels, with strong business partnering capability
  • Strong commercial mindset and genuine interest in understanding how the business works
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build credibility with leadership teams
  • Strong English communication skills is necessary, fluency in other languages maybe an advantage
  • Short notice period preferred
