ABOUT THE COMPANY
An ambitious private equity firm with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, my client focuses on thematic, research-driven projects. Identifying Singapore as its first overseas office, the firm is looking to hire an Investor Relations (IR) Vice President or above to join its Global Investor Relations Team. The selected candidate will report directly to the senior partner and collaborate closely with top management to drive critical strategic initiatives for the firm.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing the ongoing management and fund raising efforts of USD Funds through the preparation and review of relevant fund marketing materials for potential investors
  • Serve as a key point of contact for investors by communicating the USD Funds' key developments and reporting to LPs and advisory boards on a regular basis
  • Assist with capital raising activities by participating in investor meetings
  • Conduct due diligence by responding to investor questionnaires and making ad hoc requests
  • Lead the corporate strategy functions of the firm, enacting views of investors and global LP trends for the management team
  • Maintain oversight of the USD Funds' key operations, such as finance/accounting and relevant compliance requirements
Skills and Qualifications Required: 
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s or MBA degree
  • Over 5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Placement Agents, Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, with a successful track record in fund raising
  • Communication and presentation skills are excellent, and willingness to travel internationally is essential
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, delivering results while managing multiple tasks and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Candidate must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin due to the primary investment market and parent organization
  • Exemplifies integrity, professionalism, and an outstanding work ethic
