About the Client
Our client is a leading international law firm with a well-established capital markets practice in Hong Kong. As the firm continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to provide dedicated administrative and secretarial support to a team of associates working on fast-paced, deadline-driven capital markets deals.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and enjoys being an integral part of a deal team. Candidates with relevant experience are desired. 

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide full secretarial and administrative support the assigned associates, including diary management, correspondence and document handling
  • Prepare, format and proofread legal documents, prospectuses, board resolutions and transaction bibles to a high standard of accuracy
  • Coordinate closing mechanics, signing pages and document execution processes for capital markets transactions
  • Arrange meetings, conference calls and travel logistics across time zones for deal teams
  • Manage expense claims, billing entries and time recording in line with firm procedures
  • Maintain filing systems and document management databases in an organised manner
  • Assist in ad hoc tasks when necessary 
Skills and Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of legal secretarial experience, ideally within capital markets, corporate finance or M&A practice groups
  • Prior experience at an international or top-tier law firm strongly preferred
  • Fluent English and Mandarin, both written and spoken is essential
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deal timelines
  • Proficient in MS Office and legal document management systems 
  • High attention to detail, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Candidates with less experience will also be considered
