Our client is an established business with a growing regional presence. The Singapore office is a close-knit, high-performing team, led by the Managing Director who oversees both local operations and the regional finance function.
This is not a traditional secretarial role. The person stepping into this position will serve as the MD's trusted right hand — someone who extends his/her bandwidth, keeps strategic priorities on track, and acts as the critical link between the Singapore office and HQ.
A key part of the remit involves supporting and coordinating business transformation projects being driven at the group level, ensuring the Singapore office is well-prepared, aligned, and executing effectively. This suits someone who is ambitious, commercially sharp, highly organised, and ready to operate in a lean environment where ownership and initiative are valued above all.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of support for the Managing Director, managing priorities, communications, and follow-through across internal and external stakeholders
- Support and coordinate business transformation initiatives driven by HQ, acting as the Singapore lead for project tracking, localisation, and implementation
- Prepare briefing materials, business reviews, presentations, and reports to keep the MD informed and ahead of key decisions
- Act as the operational anchor for the Singapore office, ensuring the team runs smoothly and that the MD's priorities are cascaded and executed effectively
- Serve as the key bridge between Singapore and HK HQ, ensuring alignment on strategy, priorities, and business updates
- Coordinate with HODs on operational and people-related matters, flagging issues upstream to the MD or HQ where needed
- Support the MD on ad-hoc strategic and business projects as the company continues to evolve regionally
- Occasional travel to other markets for alignment and project implementation
- 5–8 years of experience in a business operations, strategy, project management, or executive support capacity — backgrounds in consulting, corporate strategy, or general management are highly welcomed, candidates with less experience will also be considered
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across a fast-moving, lean environment
- Commercially minded with genuine curiosity about how businesses operate and grow — this is not a role for those who prefer a narrow functional track
- High emotional intelligence and the maturity to navigate a founder-family business culture with discretion, loyalty, and good judgement
- Comfortable being a generalist — someone who takes ownership, rolls up their sleeves, and thrives without a rigid structure around them
- Prior experience supporting C-suite or senior leadership is preferred; comfortable and able to drive changes are essential traits for the role
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore (no visa sponsorship available)
