About the Opportunity
  • We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Advanced Trading Product team of a leading global digital asset platform.
  • This is a core product role focused on owning advanced trading products and features across regulated and compliant markets, including Europe, the United States, Singapore, the UAE, and other key jurisdictions. You will take products from strategy and requirements definition through design, launch, and continuous improvement, while helping ensure that the platform remains competitive with leading cryptocurrency exchanges and trading venues.
  • The successful candidate will combine strong product management capabilities with a solid understanding of trading mechanics, market structure, user experience, liquidity, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership
  • Own the product roadmap and delivery for assigned advanced trading areas, including:
    • Account and margin models.
    • Order lifecycle and execution workflows.
    • Position management.
    • Market data and trading information surfaces.
    • Web and mobile trading interfaces.
  • Develop clear product requirement documents, user stories, product flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead products through design reviews, engineering delivery, user acceptance testing, launch, and post-launch iteration.
  • Define product success metrics and establish continuous improvement processes focused on trading experience, liquidity quality, execution performance, and risk outcomes.
Market and Competitive Intelligence
  • Monitor and benchmark advanced trading products across leading digital asset exchanges and trading platforms.
  • Analyse product mechanisms, fee structures, liquidity models, trading interfaces, order types, and new product launches.
  • Track developments across traditional finance, derivatives markets, and regulated digital asset markets.
  • Translate market and competitor insights into actionable product opportunities and recommendations.
Trading Experience
  • Improve the speed, simplicity, and reliability of the trading journey across web and mobile platforms.
  • Enhance order-entry experiences, order tickets, charting and candlestick functionality, market data presentation, and active-trader features.
  • Partner closely with Design and Engineering to deliver polished, intuitive, and high-performance trading experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to improve trader engagement, retention, and overall platform usability.
Liquidity, Execution, and Risk
  • Contribute to the design and optimization of liquidity parameters, fee tiers, and execution-quality monitoring.
  • Track key trading performance indicators, including spread, market depth, slippage, fill rate, and execution quality.
  • Support the development and enhancement of trading risk frameworks, including:
    • Price limit mechanisms.
    • Funding rate models.
    • Index and mark price logic.
    • Leverage and position tiers.
    • Liquidation-related controls.
  • Translate quantitative, risk, and operational requirements into clear product specifications and actionable development plans.
Regulated-Market Delivery
  • Work with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and local market teams to deliver trading products and enhancements in licensed or regulated jurisdictions.
  • Support product development across markets such as Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, Brazil, Australia, and the UAE.
  • Translate regulatory and jurisdiction-specific requirements into practical product solutions.
  • Balance regulatory obligations, risk controls, commercial priorities, and user experience without unnecessarily compromising product usability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quantitative Research, Risk, Design, Operations, Business Development, and Institutional Client teams.
  • Coordinate stakeholders throughout the product development and launch lifecycle.
  • Communicate product progress, delivery risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and key decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Build alignment across technical, commercial, operational, and regulatory teams.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including a minimum of 3 years working on cryptocurrency trading products.
  • Strong experience with derivatives products, particularly perpetual contracts or futures; options experience is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience launching and improving trading features on web and/or mobile platforms within a leading cryptocurrency exchange or comparable trading environment.
  • Solid understanding of exchange and trading mechanisms, including:
    • Perpetuals, futures, and options.
    • Margin models.
    • Funding rates.
    • Index and mark prices.
    • Liquidation mechanics.
    • Order types and order lifecycles.
    • Trading execution and market microstructure.
  • Working knowledge of exchange liquidity economics and trading risk frameworks, including maker/taker fees, position tiers, leverage structures, and liquidity incentives.
  • Strong product documentation skills, including the ability to write clear PRDs, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Structured thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional product initiatives from concept through launch and iteration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
