Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a strategic transformation initiative for a leading insurance client. This role will focus on operations strategy, process optimization, and delivery of transformation programs across core insurance functions.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of project management discipline, operational expertise, and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics. Lead end-to-end delivery of operations strategy initiatives across business units.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Track progress, manage risks/issues, and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders
  • Support the design and implementation of operational strategies to improve efficiency, cost, and customer experience.
  • Conduct process reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions.Drive process optimization initiatives (e.g., digitization, automation, workflow redesign).
  • Align operational initiatives with overall business and transformation goals.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including business leaders, operations, IT, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and decision-making forums.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across all project stakeholders.
  • Support change management planning, including communication and training strategies.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of new processes, systems, and operating models..
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness of implemented changes
  • Define KPIs and track operational performance metrics.
  • Use data insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
 Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related disciplines.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project management, consulting, or business operations.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with insurance operations such as policy administration, claims, underwriting, or distribution is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in operations strategy, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in complex environments.
  • Exposure to digital or technology-driven initiatives within financial services preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery concepts and project governance frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset with attention to delivery quality.
  • Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies)

  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
