This Senior Business Analyst role is part of a strategic operations transformation program within a well-known insurance firm. The position focuses on re‑designing customer journeys, streamlining operational workflows, and driving digitalisation initiatives, while also supporting regulatory technology (RegTech) and AML process enhancements. The analyst will partner closely with operations, customer service, risk, technology, and vendor stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, facilitate workshops, and ensure alignment across projects. Responsibilities include process analysis, solution evaluation, user acceptance testing, and project delivery management, with a strong emphasis on knowledge consolidation and governance.

Responsibilities
- Analyse business processes, customer journeys, and operational workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and digitalisation.
- Document and validate requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications; conduct impact and gap assessments.
- Consolidate and maintain structured repositories of procedures, guidelines, FAQs, and operational knowledge; ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance.
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Risk/AML, Technology, and external vendors; facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and requirement discussions; drive alignment and follow‑up actions.
- Prepare and review UAT scenarios and test cases; support execution, defect resolution, and deployment; assist with training, communications, and feedback collection.
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules; track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues; prepare status reports; analyse operational data and define success measures.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis within financial services or related industries.
- Proven track record in end‑to‑end project delivery, from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Background in customer experience, digital products, AML operations, risk management, or operational transformation preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Solid project coordination and delivery management expertise.
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives; experience with AI‑related projects preferred.
- Strong advantage for candidates with proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, and English.
