This HRBP role is advisory focus, strategic, and deeply embedded in the business. You will work alongside senior tech leaders to shape team structure, hiring strategy, performance frameworks, and people programs that enable scale, reliability, and high performance.

Job Responsibility
- Act as the primary HR advisor engineering/ tech leaders, shaping people strategy aligned to product, reliability, and operational objectives
- Partner on workforce planning, org design, role-level hiring strategy, and prioritisation of critical talent needs
- Lead complex and senior hiring processes in collaboration with other COEs including C&B and TA, ensuring the business secures high-quality technical talent
- Design and implement performance management, career frameworks, and compensation calibration for engineering functions
- Anticipate people risks such as turnover, capability gaps, and succession gaps, and propose proactive interventions and retention strategies
- Coach and upskill managers on people management, feedback, capability development, and team health diagnostics
- Manage employee relations issues sensitively and compliantly, partnering with legal and HR Ops as required
- Partner with People and HR leadership on culture, engagement, and change initiatives specific to Tech
- Assist in ad hoc tasks when necessary
- 12+ years of HRBP experience, with a proven track record partnering technical or engineering teams in tech, fintech, crypto, or closely related industries
- Deep understanding of technical hiring, engineering team structures, and capability models for infra and platform functions
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business strategy into people solutions, confident advising senior engineering leaders
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and coaching skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and operate in ambiguity
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Fluency in both English and Chinese is essential
