Job description

Our client is a leading financial institution looking for the solution-focused System Analyst. This position will act as a pivotal bridge between business requirements and technical execution, taking ownership of digital application delivery across the full development lifecycle.
You will lead key software initiatives and ensure system architectures meet modern security and financial regulatory standards.
 
Responsibilities
  • Steer solutions through discovery, requirement analysis, technical architecture, testing (QA/UAT), and production deployment.
  • Lead and design the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to build scalable, high-performance system applications.
  • Formulate scalable system design strategies, balancing technical debt, performance, and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with external technology providers and cross-functional teams to enforce technical standards and deliver projects on schedule.
  • Embed modern IT compliance guidelines, data privacy standards, and regulatory controls into every stage of the software development pipeline.
  • Function as the technical lead for critical enterprise system enhancements and new platform features.
 Requirements
  • University degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Working experience in financial services is highly preferred.
  • 6+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years acting as a System Analyst, Technical Lead, or Principal Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud-Native Architecture concepts and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of modern front-end/mobile app frameworks (e.g., Angular.js, Vue.js, React/React Native, Flutter) is an advantage.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Strong analytical thinking, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to teamwork.
