About the Client & Role
Our client is a well-established commercial organisation with a global presence. They are now hiring a Talent Acquisition Lead at group level to raise the standard of its hiring across markets. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can deliver regional hiring and build the structure behind it.

In the near term, you will review the current TA SOPs and bring in consistent, scalable processes across the group. At a later stage, you will lead the ATS implementation, turning the new processes into an efficient, data-driven recruitment system. The role suits a TA leader from a commercial background who has managed regional hiring before and enjoys building teams and processes as much as closing key hires.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end regional hiring across multiple markets, from junior to senior levels, and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR partners
  • Lead, coach and develop the TA team, setting clear priorities, performance standards and ways of working
  • Review the current TA SOPs, find gaps and inefficiencies, and design standard hiring procedures across the group
  • Roll out the new processes across markets, keeping core practices consistent while allowing for local requirements and regulations
  • Lead ATS selection and implementation at a later stage, including requirements gathering, vendor liaison, system configuration, user training and adoption
  • Set up TA metrics and reporting (e.g. time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, hiring quality) to support workforce planning and continuous improvement
  • Build sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles, including direct sourcing and talent mapping
  • Manage recruitment agency partnerships, including vendor selection, terms and performance review
  • Strengthen the employer brand and candidate experience across all hiring channels
  • Work with HR, finance and business leaders on headcount planning and hiring budgets
Skills and Requirements
  • Solid TA experience in the commercial sector, including at least a few years leading regional hiring across multiple markets
  • Proven people leadership, with experience managing and developing a TA team, directly or across a matrix
  • Track record of reviewing and standardising TA processes, SOPs or operating models
  • Experience with ATS implementation or migration is strongly preferred; good knowledge of recruitment technology and HR systems
  • Strong stakeholder management, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and challenge them where needed
  • Structured, organised and hands-on, able to balance strategic projects with day-to-day hiring
  • Excellent English, Cantonese and Mandarin communication skills is essential for regional stakeholder management
