- Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand patterns, trends, and relationships within large and complex datasets.
- Utilize a blend of mathematical rigor and creative algorithm design to extract meaningful insights from data.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop and implement data science solutions that support business transformation and have measurable impact.
- Take the lead on individual use cases, ensuring that business requirements are met and delivering tangible value.
- Oversee the development and implementation of BI solutions for various management information reporting.
- Provide valuable insights through the data visualization process, adopting a customer-centric approach.
- Develop and implement machine learning models, utilizing test driven development.
- Graduate or advanced degree qualification in related subjects, such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar fields.
- 3+ years of relevant working experience in the data analytics field as a statistician, analyst, or data scientist.
- Hands-on experience of building generalized linear models and/or supervised ML model and/or Deep learning models and/or clustering, and/or text analytics/NLP; deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Proficient in the model development process, including data cleansing, feature engineering, model training, and validation. Possess a solid understanding of the underlying algorithms.
- Familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, Spark, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Knowledge and programming experience in Python, SQL and NoSQL
- Experience in Cloud computing preferably Amazon Web Services, Sagemaker, Athena, Databricks, etc.
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to present data reports/ analyses and statistics in a simple and clear way.
- Good command of English, as well as fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
