My client is seeking for an exceptional Audit professional to join them as the Internal Audit Transformation Lead – this role will be focusing on driving their upcoming internal audit transformation project and basically “audit the internal audit process” to identify needs and gaps that can improve. This role will also work closely with the Head of Audit to work on upcoming initiatives and projects. The ideal candidate will have gained both inhouse and external audit experience before (having inhouse experience is a MUST) within the non-financial services sector; having regional exposure will be plus.

Job Description:
- Work closely with the Head of Audit for any upcoming projects and attend audit committee meetings when necessary
- Lead the departmental transformation projects, overseeing the implementation of projects that involve updating the audit methodology, programs, and policies to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards; also conduct regular check ups with internal audit reports and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures – findings and recommendations should be provided to improve the overall practice
- Act as the lead of internal audit practice and maintain the audit schedule and ensure clear communication across teams; work closely with the audit committee to update the checklist and to support the audit execution
- Work closely with external auditors with annual external auditing exercise and implement their recommendations when applicable
- Act as a project manager to monitor the progress of audit and deliverables based on the initial set annual audit plans and targets – follow up with the status and corrective action plans if necessary
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree will be a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Auditing preferably from diverse industries but non-financial services; Candidates gained experience as both inhouse and external auditor are desired
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify audit risk and potential gaps and turn them into actionable strategies and recommendations
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is a MUST
- Candidates who satisfied the language requirement and open to relocate to Hong Kong are also welcome to apply
