Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our crypto exchange client as the Chief Financial Officer. This role involves full ownership of finance operations, planning and analysis, asset management, and technology build for the diverse range of financial products, including loans, staking, and customer and corporate asset management.
Responsibilities:
- Take complete ownership of finance operations, including overseeing financial planning and analysis, asset management, and technology build for our financial products.
- Optimize crypto/fiat exposure in fee revenues to ensure effective profit and loss (PnL) control, particularly during periods of market volatility.
- Assume responsibility for financial control, governance, and funding requirements for the global entity
- Implement rigorous monitoring of Return on Investment (ROI) for regions, products, and marketing campaigns to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage a global team and providing leadership, guidance, and support.
- Report directly to the Founders, Board, and CEO, providing regular updates on financial operations and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or other relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Extensive experience in finance operations, financial planning and analysis, and asset management within the financial services industry.
- Proven ability to optimize revenue streams and manage PnL in a dynamic and volatile market.
- Strong understanding of financial control, governance, and funding requirements for global entities.
- Track record of successfully setting up licensed entities, including strategy development, financial projections, and funding arrangements.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring ROI for regions, products, and marketing campaigns.
- Previous experience managing a global team is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and present to senior stakeholders.
