Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate the company's vision, mission, and long-term strategy to all stakeholders. Lead the executive team in executing strategic plans and initiatives.
- Manage the company's financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability. Make data-driven decisions to drive financial growth and sustainability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand their market presence and customer base.
- Drive the development and enhancement of blockchain-powered technologies. Ensure that their products remain at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Oversee the technical and commercial teams of the company while developing and implementing the company's product and technology strategies.
- Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify product opportunities and drive innovation.
- Build and lead a high-performing executive team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, customers, technology solution providers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact the company's operations or reputation.
- Serve as the face of the company, representing the business in public forums and conferences. Effectively communicate the company's mission and achievements to various audiences.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a CEO or in a senior executive leadership role, preferably in the blockchain or related field.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and related stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology and its applications in the supply chain industry.
- Proven experience of developing high quality profitable strategies, implementing visions & understanding corporate businesses functions and corporate governance.
- Understanding of blockchain technology, its applications, and potential impact on various industries.
- Knowledge of FS industry, supply chain / transportation and logistics is a plus.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth, profitability, and shareholder value.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards in the blockchain industry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a strong level of gravitas and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
