Our client is searching for a highly skilled Database Administrator who will take charge of the company's databases, ensuring their safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This position requires a candidate with exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in database performance monitoring, and a solid understanding of security protocols. They will work closely with the IT team to maintain the database infrastructure and make necessary updates and improvements to ensure the ongoing efficient operation of the organization's systems and applications.

- Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and robust database infrastructure that meets the organization's needs.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, replication, and recovery, as well as data migration and integration.
- Monitor database performance and tune the database to optimize performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Strengthen database security by implementing access controls and monitoring database usage to identify unauthorized access attempts.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure backups are valid and regularly tested.
- Manage the database infrastructure's budget and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Work with vendors to resolve database incidents and problems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a database administrator.
- Proficiency in SQL, and experience with multiple database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience with cloud-based database platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience with database security, performance tuning, and backup and recovery techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work outside of regular business hours when necessary.
