Senior Robotics Engineer – Robotics Manufacturing
ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client, a leading smart robotics manufacturing company, is seeking a senior robotics engineer to join their energetic team as a key contributor. This thrilling opportunity enables the successful candidate to take the lead in advancing technology and engineering in Singapore.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and create test specifications, methods, and instructions independently, taking into account hardware and software performance requirements of the product, while balancing factors such as product specifications, process requirements, manufacturing complexity, cost, and lead-time limits.
  • Update and maintain test automation scripts to ensure testing efficiency, data collection, and analysis.
  • Oversee Product Design Validation, Testing, and Documentations to guarantee that the assigned product meets internal quality standards and ensure consistency in development.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on test equipment setup, availability of equipment and facilities, specifications, and other pertinent quality or engineering information.
  • Manage tests from setup to execution and reporting, including test planning, development, execution, inspections, root cause analysis, data processing, documentation, and failure analysis.
  • Coordinate test resources, develop, and maintain validation schedules, and provide updates on status/blockers to program managers. Perform ad-hoc troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of test robots.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent field
  • Possess a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a robotics engineer
  • Passionate about robotics
  • Proficient in system/firmware programming using C/C++
  • Experience working with STM32 or comparable controllers
  • Familiarity with memory, power, SPI, CAN, serial RS232, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and UART protocols
  • Ability to contribute to and understand system architecture and design
  • A thorough comprehension of hardware
  • Experience working with logic analysers and oscilloscopes
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies would be advantageous
