About the Company:
My client who is a MNC is now seeking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Learning and Development Manager to their team. As the Assistant Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the training and development programs across the organization. This is an end-to-end position, encompassing training design, delivery, and evaluation. The role focuses on delivering soft skills training to a diverse audience, ranging from frontline staff (non-retail) to office staff, conduct around 2-3 one day training classes per month.

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement the organization's learning and development strategy, aligned with business objectives and employee development needs
  • Design and deliver engaging soft skills training programs that cater to the diverse needs of our employees
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure content relevance
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions
  • Create and manage a training calendar, ensuring training programs are scheduled and delivered effectively
  • Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and audio-visual aids when necessary
  • Utilize a variety of training methods, such as classroom training, e-learning, workshops etc. to cater to different learning styles and preferences
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback sessions, and make necessary improvements
  • Monitor and report on the training budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in learning and development to drive continuous improvement
Skills & Experiences required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience designing and delivering soft skills training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to engage various levels of employees
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
  • Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and development
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation is a plus
