As the Assistant Manager/ Manager, Operations focusing on Client Onboarding in a well-reputed Regional Private Bank, your key responsibility will be:
  • Oversee the seamless execution of client account openings, periodic reviews, and associated documentation, ensuring adherence to KYC, CRS, and FATCA requirements.
  • Maintain and update client information systems with precision, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct daily AML name screening and perform thorough customer information verification and updates to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Foster strong collaboration with internal departments to streamline processes and enhance operational synergy.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management to support business objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client onboarding procedures and implement process improvements.
requirements.
  • Possession of an associate or bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in AML, KYC, and CDD processes within the private banking sector, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with investment products and market dynamics is advantageous.
  • A professional and approachable demeanor, complemented by exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Resilience under pressure, coupled with a strong eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with proficient typing skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Mandarin highly preferred.
