Our client, a leading insurer in Hong Kong, is seeking Business Development Assistant Managers / Managers to support their customers with insurance product advisory. Candidates with retail banking experience and strong insurance product knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
• Partner with bankers and branch front office teams to identify potential clients, build strong relationships, and introduce tailored insurance solutions that align with their financial needs
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with Chinese bankers to expand business opportunities
• Assess customers' wealth management needs and introduce suitable insurance solutions
• Provide expert insurance product advice and services to guide customers through the sales journey
Requirements
• 3-8 years of experience in retail banking, insurance companies, or professional services
• IIQE Paper 1, 3, 5 certification required
• University degree in Business Administration or a relevant qualification
• Strong compliance knowledge and expertise in insurance products
• Mandarin is essential; basic Cantonese proficiency preferred
• Proactive and team-oriented, working collaboratively to achieve business goals
• Innovative problem-solving skills to effectively support brokers
