Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead end-to-end hiring for the China market, focusing on tech, product, and business roles. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders to build a high-performing team, leveraging your expertise in local talent trends and fintech recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for China-based roles (tech/non-tech): sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top talent
- Develop innovative strategies to attract passive candidates (fintech, payments, blockchain, etc.) in a competitive market
- Partner with China/HQ leadership to align hiring plans with business goals
- Optimize employer branding and candidate experience for the China market
- Leverage data/metrics to improve hiring efficiency and diversity
- Stay updated on China labor laws, hiring trends, and fintech talent pools
- 5+ years of in-house/agency recruitment experience, focusing on China hiring
- Proven success hiring for fintech, tech startups, or financial services (engineering, product, compliance, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of China talent markets (e.g., Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen) and recruitment channels (local job boards, social media, referrals)
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written/spoken) is mandatory
- Experience with ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools
- Experience scaling teams in high-growth fintechs
- Network of candidates/partners in China’s fintech ecosystem
