Our client is a well known insurance company in Hong Kong; currently they are seeking an AI & Data Product Owner/ Business Analyst to join the Transformation Team. This is a non-technical role focused on driving AI adoption across operations and leveraging data to define markets, segment customers, and strengthen the insurance ecosystem. The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner, using insights to generate new sales opportunities and enhance business performance.

- Lead initiatives to integrate AI into operational workflows.
- Promote AI awareness and adoption across business units.
- Identify and prioritize business processes that can benefit from AI solutions.
- Analyze internal and external data to define market opportunities.
- Develop customer segmentation strategies to improve targeting and personalization.
- Map the insurance ecosystem to identify cross-selling and partnership opportunities.
- Work closely with business teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Partner with technology teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Use data insights to support sales campaigns and improve ROI.
- Identify new revenue streams through ecosystem partnerships and market segmentation.
- Provide strategic input to enhance customer engagement and retention.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
- Experience in business analysis, data-driven strategy, or consulting, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Good understanding of AI concepts and their business applications (no coding required).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to translate data insights into business strategies.
- Knowledge of insurance products, operations, and market dynamics is an advantage.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and transformation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities from complex data.
- Collaborative and persuasive communicator, able to influence across teams.
- Results-oriented, focused on delivering measurable business impact.
- Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
