This Leading Financial Services is looking for seasoned Operational Risk talent to join their team. You will be directly reporting to the CRO, This one-man band role offers great working culture and great worklife balance.

job scope.
As the Manager, Operational Risk Management in a Leading Financial Services, your key responsibility will be to:

Spearhead the development and execution of the operational risk management framework, including policies and procedures.
Coordinate the annual review process for Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), and Loss Data Collection (LDC), collaborating with cross-functional teams. Oversee the timely and accurate reporting of operational risk incidents via the internal risk management system.
Prepare and deliver routine and ad-hoc operational risk reports, monitoring findings, and surveillance updates to the Chief Risk Officer and senior leadership.
Engage in the evaluation and approval of new product initiatives in partnership with the New Business and Product Committee, ensuring alignment with risk policies.
Offer strategic insights, risk mitigation recommendations, and guidance to enhance operational risk awareness across the organization.
Serve as the primary liaison for operational risk matters between regional offices and global headquarters.
Fulfill additional reporting obligations, ad-hoc requests from senior leadership, and other duties as directed by the Chief Risk Officer.

requirements.

Degree holder or above with major in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, related discipline;
At least 5 years hands-on operational risk management experience gained from investment bank, securities brokerage;
Individuals with less experience can be considered for an Associate level position;
Eager with ability and self-discipline to meet the sometimes tight schedule of various risk reports preparation;
Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
