This Leading Financial Services is looking for seasoned Operational Risk talent to join their team. You will be directly reporting to the CRO, This one-man band role offers great working culture and great worklife balance.

job scope.
As the Manager, Operational Risk Management in a Leading Financial Services, your key responsibility will be to:
  • Spearhead the development and execution of the operational risk management framework, including policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the annual review process for Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Risk Indicators (KRI), and Loss Data Collection (LDC), collaborating with cross-functional teams. Oversee the timely and accurate reporting of operational risk incidents via the internal risk management system.
  • Prepare and deliver routine and ad-hoc operational risk reports, monitoring findings, and surveillance updates to the Chief Risk Officer and senior leadership.
  • Engage in the evaluation and approval of new product initiatives in partnership with the New Business and Product Committee, ensuring alignment with risk policies.
  • Offer strategic insights, risk mitigation recommendations, and guidance to enhance operational risk awareness across the organization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for operational risk matters between regional offices and global headquarters.
  • Fulfill additional reporting obligations, ad-hoc requests from senior leadership, and other duties as directed by the Chief Risk Officer.

  • Degree holder or above with major in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, related discipline;
  • At least 5 years hands-on operational risk management experience gained from investment bank, securities brokerage;
  • Individuals with less experience can be considered for an Associate level position;
  • Eager with ability and self-discipline to meet the sometimes tight schedule of various risk reports preparation;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
