This leading European Private Bank is looking for Technology talent responsible for assessing, coordinating and tracking remediation plans relating (where applicable) to regulatory related circulars, survey, questionnaires as well as new/revised regulatory guidelines with the relevant IT stakeholders. You will be joining a team of 10, with great worklife balance and great remuneration package provided.
About the Job
- Oversee IT operations and coordinate internal assessments on HKMA & SFC regulatory
- Lead requirement gathering with the business stakeholders and propose suitable solutions
- Responsible for keeping track of HK regulatory changes, and ensuring that proper measures are put in place by collaborating with the relevant SMEs.
- Responsible for coordinating annual HKMA ICA
- Formulate IT strategies and policies to contribute to the operations and ongoing growth of the business
- Experience in performing the annual drills with HKICL and its related systems
- Participates with senior leaders in setting the business strategy, and long-term and annual business plans and develops and implements plans and budgets to support these initiatives and plans.
- Leads integration efforts in acquisitions to take advantage of synergies and technology.
- Identifies opportunities for cost-effective investment in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing and in-house development.
- Leads identifies and ensures business requirements are defined for new technology; develops implementation plans.
- Responsible for handling day-to-day events and incidents in accordance with the bank’s Incident
- Responsible for organizing work on the IT Onsite operations and ensuring a stable platform environment
- Bachelor’s Degree with Honor (or equivalent) or above in Computer Science or an IT related discipline from a prestigious institution
- Experience in direct working experience in a client-facing IT Support and / or IT Control/Risk environment
- Strong understanding and hands on experience in working with HKMA/SFC IT and outsourcing regulations; Understanding China regulations is a plus
- Strong command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese, Knowledge in Mandarin is an asset
- Broad understanding of networking protocols and administration
