We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager – Product Development to join my client’s team and contribute to the creation and enhancement of cutting-edge insurance products.
As the Assistant Manager – Product Development, you will support the Product Development team in designing, developing, and implementing new insurance products and enhancing existing ones. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Underwriting, Actuarial, Marketing, and Compliance, to ensure products meet market needs, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with actuarial teams to ensure pricing and risk assessment align with product goals
- Prepare product documentation, including policy wordings, terms & conditions, and regulatory filings
- Work with Marketing and Sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional materials
- Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Support senior management with presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in insurance product development, underwriting, or actuarial roles
- Strong understanding of insurance products (Life/Savings preferred)
- Candidates with HNW product development experience has an added advantage
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and market research
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills
