As the Associate Director, Strategy in a leading global asset management, your key responsibility will be to:
  • Develop and execute the global asset management strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of industry trends, competitor landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Drive the strategic planning process, including goal setting, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leaders, portfolio managers, and risk management teams to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and new business opportunities to enhance our market presence.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative product and distribution strategies to drive growth and expand our client base.
  • Provide thought leadership on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory developments to guide decision-making processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the asset management team.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • Proven experience, minimum 12 years, in a strategic role within the asset management industry. Strong understanding of Asset Management business knowledge of clients, capabilities, operational topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that deliver measurable business results.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving change.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities.
