Cybersecurity Analyst (Fintech)

We are looking for a dedicated security professional to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of our organization’s security practices. This role involves identifying potential risks, enhancing security measures, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining security standard, policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor security alerts and logs using the cybersecurity solution, such as SIEM tools; investigate and escalate incidents as needed.
• Support vulnerability scans and patch management across systems and applications.
• Help coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of required materials.
• Conduct basic risk assessments and recommend mitigation steps for identified issues.
• Maintain access control systems and support user provisioning/deprovisioning processes.
• Participate in security awareness initiatives and training sessions for staff.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and assist in updating security configurations accordingly.

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, etc.
• Candidates possessing certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CEH, OSCP, or OSWP will be strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 or NIST standards is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Solid Experience in IT security assessment, e.g., vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and Application (Web and Mobile) security testing
• Good command of written and spoken in English & Cantonese
