Job Description:
- Support Data Governance, data management framework.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and establish best practices in enterprise data frameworks, policies and guidelines.
- Keep up to date with trends of data regulation and interaction with data and knowledge in compliance and sensitivity to data matters.
- Establish data quality standards: Define and enforce data quality standards, data classification, and data lineage processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of data
- Expertise in understanding data digitalisation to leverage capabilities for optimisation and automation.
- Set key data governance metrics and reporting standards to track progress.
- Monitor and enforce data governance policies: Monitor compliance with data governance policies, identify and address policy violations, and ensure adherence to relevant data regulations and industry best practices
- Develop data governance documentation: Create and maintain data governance documentation, including data dictionaries, data standards, data access controls and data governance reports
- Lead and strategise on data governance for internal and external users.
- Minimum of Bachelor's in relevant fields like Computer Science or Statistics.
- Experience in the field of Finance or related industry segments.
- Experience in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
- Understanding of data regulatory requirements, privacy, and security.
- Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English, stakeholder management and engagement drive the adoption of frameworks and deliver projects efficiently.
