Job description

Our client is a prominent player in the insurance industry, dedicated to delivering innovative products. We are seeking a skilled Product Business Analyst to join our team and drive product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for insurance products, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the different stakeholders to define product features, functionalities, and specifications for new and existing insurance products.
  • Create and maintain process maps and workflows to visualize product development stages and identify areas for improvement.
  • Plan, execute, and manage UAT, ensuring that product features meet business requirements and quality standards prior to launch.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of product goals and timelines.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and enhancements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the product lifecycle, including business requirements, functional specifications, and testing outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on new product features and functionalities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of insurance products and processes.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Life Insurance industry with understanding on life insurance products and operation
  • Experience in end-to-end product development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
