About the Company:
My client is a tech company with operation over the globe.

With the hyper growth of the company over the world, they have now set up a new headcount as the Global Head of HR to oversee their HR team across the globe. This role will act as a key leader to work closely with top management and to set up the “best practice” for HR team across the regions. The ideal candidate should be creative, agile, driven and visionary, experienced in driving cultural transformation as well as setting up Talent management framework and design; similar industry experience is NOT necessary.

Job Description:
Senior Leadership/ Supervisory Duties
  • Act as one of the key members in the Leadership team to set up HR strategies (from different HR perspective e.g. Organisation Design, Talent Management etc.) that fit to the business’ priorities
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department 
  • Lead the whole HR team and empower the team to deliver the desired result
  • Act as a coach / mentor for direct subordinates and provide constructive advice to them so as to groom them / unlock their full potential  
Daily duties:
  • Oversees the overall foundation elements of HR – including but not limited to Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & development and Employee Relations 
  • Develop a comprehensive talent management framework and devise a talent development strategy specifically tailored to particular level of employees
  • Introduce the “HR Best Practice” to different countries across the globe and ensure the localisation/ implementation goes smoothly
  • Revamp HR policies and framework on a global level, implement & align the generic policies over the globe
  • Maintain the knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to top management
  • Lead any HR transformation / ad hoc projects when necessary
Skills & Experiences required:
  • University degree in HR Management or related discipline
  • At least 10 years of HR experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience focusing on Leadership Development / Talent Management
  • Candidates has regional / global experience are desired
  • Proficient in English is a MUST, expats in Hong Kong are welcome to apply!
