Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure leader to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of mission-critical network services and infrastructure operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing business-specific projects, ensuring strict compliance with procedures and policies. You will be accountable for managing IT infrastructure products, network systems, servers, digitalization initiatives, and cloud technologies. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the IT infrastructure landscape of the organization.

About the Duties
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's overall business goals and objectives.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data centers, and cloud services.
- Lead and coordinate IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of IT operations, including user support, system administration, and IT service management.
- Involving in recommending, formulating, and developing strategies, policies, and operational frameworks for infrastructure. The objective will be to achieve a balance between stability, security, cost-effectiveness, and fostering innovation.
- Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of end-to-end IT offerings including IT infrastructure, security technologies, IT applications, digital transformation and cloud in local competitive environment
- Responsible for proposal creation, delivery and any other ad hoc duties assigned.
- Collaborate and negotiate with IT vendors and system integrators to identify and implement cost-effective solutions. Involve establishing effective communication channels with these external partners to ensure optimal outcomes in terms of both cost and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Degree or above in Computer Science or industry related discipline
- At least 12 years of relevant hands-on experiences in IT networking and infrastructure
- Minimally 6 years of people management experiences, managing managers and engineers
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or CISA may also be beneficial
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management related to IT.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives and drive innovation.
