Job description

My client is a leading financial technology company that provides online brokerage services and trading products to global customers and they are seeking an experienced Head of Product and Marketing to join their team in Indonesia.

As the Head of Product and Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of Product Managers and Sales and Marketing Managers to launch and market the platform and achieve commercial goals.

Product Management:
  • Lead the strategic roadmap, development, launch, and marketing of our products to deliver the best client experience.
  • Manage day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies, prioritizing, negotiating, and removing obstacles to achieve business results.
  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, multiple countries, region, or business to increase client adoption.
  • Contribute to the achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals.
Sales and Marketing:
  • Build, plan and implement the overall sales and marketing strategy for a country, multiple countries, region.
  • Prepare and manage sales and marketing budget and plan.
  • Manage and oversee different sales and marketing channels.
  • Measure ROI and KPIs.
  • Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement.
Requirements:
  • A graduate degree, preferably in Business or related disciplines, with at least 10 years of similar experience in a related financial institution.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in leading teams and implementing new products, with recent stints in leading digital projects being a strong plus. 
  • Proficient working knowledge in equities and other brokerage products is essential
  • Strong customer-orientation and commercial awareness with prior stints in customer-centric organizations being highly advantageous.
  • Consistent track record in project management and implementation.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills; an authentic leader with good time management, inclusive behaviors, and a strong belief in people development.
  • Fluency in the Chinese language is a necessity as this role will be working closely with counterparts based in China.
