As the Institutional Sales focusing on fixed income in a well-reputed Regional Bank, your key responsibility will be:
- Originate and execute Fixed Income flow across the full spectrum of bonds, credit, structured notes and yield-enhancement solutions for banks, asset managers, insurance companies, private banks and corporates.
- Deliver bespoke market colour, relative-value analysis and tailored investment ideas that enable clients to navigate rates, credit and structured-product opportunities with confidence.
- Cultivate and deepen strategic, long-term partnerships with the most influential fixed-income buyers and wealth-management platforms across Hong Kong and Southern China.
- Consistently deliver ambitious revenue targets while strengthening the franchise’s position as the pre-eminent distributor of fixed-income and structured solutions in the region.
- Collaborate seamlessly with trading, structuring, legal, operations and research teams to ensure flawless idea generation, pricing and post-trade servicing.
- Lead or contribute to strategic client-coverage initiatives and ad-hoc projects as directed by the Head of Fixed Income Sales.
- Holds a first-class bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or a quantitative discipline.
- Brings a minimum of five years’ front-line experience in Fixed Income sales or trading within a bulge-bracket, Chinese or international brokerage house, with a verifiable track record of revenue generation.
- Possesses an established network of active buying relationships among Hong Kong-based banks, private banks, securities firms and asset managers.
- Demonstrates genuine product expertise across vanilla bonds, credit, and complex structured notes — particularly Equity-Linked Notes, Auto-Callables and other yield-enhancement structures favoured by wealth-management channels.
- Holds current SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and Type 4 (Advising on Securities) licences.
- Combines intellectual horsepower and analytical rigour with exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin essential; Cantonese highly advantageous) to the highest professional standard.
