This Client is one of the largest blockchain development companies in the world building out household name applications across finance, DeFi, NFT’s and general Blockchain SaaS solutions. Most of their employees operate fully remotely and we are looking for IT Manager within the exchange trading team. The Trading team’s mission is to design, build, and maintain services that power and accelerate our crypto products, platforms, and operations, with the goal of building the world’s best digital asset exchange platform.
The responsibilities
- Manage information technology and computer systems
- Plan, organise, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
- Creating and updating IT policies and procedures based on industry best practices.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
- Degree in IT / Computer Engineering or relevant with at least 6 years of work experience.
- Proven experience monitoring and supporting software development such as Python or Go is an advantage
- Proven experience in managing vendors and stakeholders.
- Candidates with prior experience in software development is preferred.
- Able to commence work immediately or on short notice.
