We are seeking an experienced IT Product Business Analyst with a strong background in the insurance sector to support the product development initiatives. The successful candidate will bridge business needs and technology solutions, ensuring digital products are designed, delivered, and optimized to meet client and market demands.

- Collaborate with product managers, underwriters, and IT teams to define requirements for new insurance products and digital platforms.
- Conduct business process analysis and translate findings into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with technology teams to design and implement digital product features including policy administration, claims management, and customer portals.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to capture business needs and align product roadmaps.
- Support system integration and API design for insurance platforms, ensuring seamless data flow across underwriting, claims, and customer service functions.
- Perform gap analysis between existing systems and new product requirements, recommending enhancements or new solutions.
- Assist in UAT planning and execution, validating that product features meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform product design and positioning.
- Document workflows, product specifications, and training materials to support adoption of new digital solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry, with exposure to new product development.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes (policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting, distribution).
- Certified agile professional is preferred, such as certified scrum master, PSM I/ II, etc.
- Familiarity with digital product development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good command in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
