About the company:
Our client is a leading global professional firm operating in over thirty countries. The Lead Network Engineer role’s is primarily responsible to provide LAN, WAN, and WLAN Tier 3 support; plays a dual role—delivering technical expertise while embodying a service-first mindset. Performance will be measured equally on technical proficiency and commitment to service excellence.
As a member of the Global Network team, the Lead Network Engineer is primarily responsible for providing Tier 3 support for LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure. This includes maintaining network stability, resolving complex issues, and ensuring seamless connectivity across global offices.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily technical support for the firm’s global network infrastructure, including datacenters and office locations, ensuring high availability and swift issue resolution.
  • Configure and maintain LAN, WLAN, and WAN environments to support business operations.
  • Continuously monitor network performance and integrity, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Troubleshoot and manage incidents related to network infrastructure across the firm.
  • Execute routine network maintenance, system upgrades, and hardware refreshes.
  • Conduct wireless site surveys, analyze findings, and implement remediation strategies.
  • Administer and support remote access solutions, including Palo Alto Prisma and GlobalProtect.
  • Assist with network setup and upgrades during regional office expansions or relocations.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics against established SLAs to ensure service quality.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and participate in joint technical activities as needed.
  • Prepare clear, grammatically accurate documentation, including system guides, procedures, emails, and status reports.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Participate in change control processes and contribute to change management initiatives.
  • Respond promptly to administrative requests and support management with operational and vendor-related tasks.
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of systems infrastructure as required.
  • Contribute to change control and management processes beyond core responsibilities.
  • Assist with administrative duties and vendor coordination as directed by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, iManage, and other firm applications following orientation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience in network engineering.
  • Practical experience with Cisco switching, routing, and SD-WAN platforms.
  • Familiarity with Palo Alto Prisma Access and enterprise WiFi management.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and platforms.
  • Solid understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
  • Ability to produce and interpret packet captures for diagnostics.
  • Foundational knowledge of firewall technologies.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba wireless infrastructure.
  • Exposure to network automation tools.
  • Relevant certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto, or Aruba.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor in all interactions and project engagements.
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues across all levels and diverse backgrounds.
  • Possesses strong analytical and project management capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
  • Exercises sound judgment and independence in problem-solving, knowing when to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Thrives under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits high organizational proficiency to oversee projects, monitor live systems, identify performance trends, and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English; fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
