This Leading Asset Manager is looking for seasoned operations talent focusing on fund operations and CDD to join their team due to business expansion. You will be joining a team of 4, great working culture and great remuneration package are provided.

job scope.

As the Operations Manager focusing on fund operations and CDD in a Leading Asset Manager, your key responsibility will be to:

  • Manage the setup and ongoing maintenance of accounts with local and global custodians, ensuring compliance with KYC processes, including client onboarding guidance, risk assessments, and document reviews.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as custodians, trustees, fund administrators, IT vendors, and legal counsel.
  • Track and assess the performance (NAV) of third-party fund managers.
  • Conduct trust and trade reconciliations, ensuring accurate updates to SPC data.
  • Monitor cash transaction settlements and perform cash reconciliations.
  • Generate detailed reports, including portfolio performance analyses and key control metrics, for senior leadership and headquarters as required.
  • Contribute to the development of reporting materials for the product team.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements prior to deployment.
  • Support the establishment of new funds, process improvements, and ad-hoc initiatives.

requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in asset management with product knowledge equity and fixed income;
  • Qualified to be registered as a licensed person (type 9) under SFC in asset management;
  • An in-depth knowledge and high proficiency in Excel are required;
  • Proactive, highly self-motivated, diligent, willingness to accept additional responsibilities and challenges;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin, English and Cantonese.
