About the jobIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the network infrastructure to ensure that it is secure, reliable, and scalable. You will collaborate with other technical teams and business stakeholders to identify and address network-related issues and implement solutions that meet our business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure for the company
- Act as second-level escalation point in providing technical support for all aspects of the back-end IT network infrastructure including:LAN, WAN, SDWAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, CDN, MPLS and SIP Truck
- Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure network systems are integrated with other systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior network engineers.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify network requirements and recommend solutions.
- Develop network performance metrics and reports for management.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and make recommendations on network upgrades and improvements.
- Participate in an after-hours, rotating support duty roster to remotely provide technical support during critical system outages when called.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network management and troubleshooting
- Technical competency in LAN, WAN, SDWAN and wireless networks, including servers, routers, switches, and other network appliances that connects and communicates with the corporate infrastructure.
- Hands on experience in advance routing and switching protocol, product knowledge in Cisco ISE, Fortinet and Palo Alto related firewall and systems preferred.
- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud-based network solutions will be advantageous
- Relevant network certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
