Supply Chain Director - Commerce

Job Description:

My client is a MNC who is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to oversee all logistics and supply chain operations for their growing business. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end supply chain strategy, optimization, and execution to support their rapidly scaling retail operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience
• Manage all aspects of the supply chain including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment
• Oversee distribution network planning and ensure optimal placement of inventory and facilities
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and lead continuous optimization initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, finance, and other teams to align supply chain with business objectives
• Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing excess
• Monitor supply chain KPIs and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and disruptions

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive supply chain management experience, ideally in an e-commerce or retail environment
• Proven track record of leading supply chain transformations and delivering measurable improvements
• Expertise in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, transportation management, and warehouse/fulfillment operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions
• Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or a related field; MBA preferred
• Experience with supply chain software and technologies (WMS, TMS, ERP, etc.)
