This well-reputed Regional Bank is looking for seasoned investment talent focusing on FX in private banking sector due to great success in their business last year. As the product advisor covering FX in a well-reputed Regional Private Bank, your key responsibility will be:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to promote and sell FX products to high-net-worth/ family office clients in line with house research views
- Collaborate with bankers to understand client needs and provide tailored FX solutions.
- Advise clients on suitable FX products based on their risk appetite, investment goals, and market conditions, assure seamless execution of FX and FX Derivatives orders for clients.
- Monitor and manage client portfolios, ensuring optimal performance and risk management.
- Stay updated with global economic and political developments that may impact FX markets.
- Provide timely and accurate market updates and recommendations to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as trading, research, and compliance, to ensure smooth execution of FX transactions.
- Conduct product trainings and presentations for relationship managers and clients.
- Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities and promote other banking products and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and stay informed about industry best practices.
- Generate regular reports on FX product performance and client activity for management review.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and campaigns to promote FX products.
Requirements
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant FX and Derivatives Sales experience in sell-side or buy-side institution
- A good team player
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Knowledgeable in Private Banking Products Possess high conduct credentials, ethics, honesty and integrity which align with the Bank’s desired culture, values and behaviours
- Fluent in English, Native in Mandarin (Taiwanese Hokkien is a plus)
- Writing and communication, advising skills, interpersonal and presentation abilities
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
