This well-reputed Insurer is looking for seasoned financial crime compliance talent focusing on AML to join their team due to great success in their business last year. You will be joining a team of 4, reporting to the team head. Great working culture and great stability are provided. 

job scope.
As the AML Manager in a well-reputed Insurer, your key responsibility will be:
  • Conduct meticulous customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence on policyholders and beneficiaries to mitigate AML vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor transactional activities with precision, identifying and escalating suspicious patterns in accordance with regulatory mandates.
  • Collaborate with front-line teams to embed AML controls into daily operations, fostering a culture of vigilance and adherence.
  • Perform periodic reviews and risk assessments on insurance products and client relationships, providing actionable insights to senior compliance officers.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of tailored AML training programmes for operational staff, enhancing organisational resilience.
  • Liaise with second-line functions to refine policies and procedures, bridging operational execution with strategic oversight.
Requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CAMS or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in AML compliance within the financial services sector, ideally in insurance, with a minimum of three years in a first-line or analogous role.
  • Profound understanding of global AML frameworks, including FATF recommendations, and local regulatory requirements pertinent to insurance entities.
  • Exceptional analytical acumen, coupled with the ability to discern subtle risk indicators in complex transactional data.
  • Superior communication skills, enabling articulate reporting and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the agility to navigate evolving compliance landscapes.
