This Regional Bank is looking for seasoned private banker, covering Greater China market, to join their team, with clientele provided by the bank. You will be responsible for nurturing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, with leads partially provided by the bank. Your expertise in wealth management, client acquisition, and relationship-building will drive sustainable growth in this key market. Great working culture and worklife balance are provided.

As the  Associate Director, Private Banking (Farmer Role, Greater China Coverage) in a Regional Bank, your key responsibility will be to:
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients across Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan).
  • Acquire new clients through referrals, networking, and leads provided by the bank.
  • Deepen existing client relationships by offering tailored wealth management solutions, including investments, estate planning, credit, and bespoke banking services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (investment advisors, product specialists, legal/compliance) to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings in Greater China.
  • Ensure strict compliance with KYC, AML, and private banking regulations.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining high client satisfaction.
requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field. MBA or other relevant certifications (such as CFA, CPWP, CFP) are a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in private banking/ private wealth management, with a focus on Greater China.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition and AUM growth.
  • Strong network and understanding of HNW/UHNW client needs in the region.
  • Expertise in investment products, cross-border wealth solutions, and succession planning.
  • Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
