As the Treasury Settlement Associate focusing on treasury in a well-reputed Regional Bank, your key responsibility will be:
- Oversee and execute daily settlement processes for a diverse range of financial instruments, including foreign exchange, money market products, fixed income securities, and derivatives, ensuring precision and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage the efficient processing of settlement payments and receipts, maintaining accuracy and timeliness to support operational excellence.
- Collaborate on strategic projects and undertake additional responsibilities as directed by senior management, contributing to the continuous improvement of operational frameworks.
- Monitor and reconcile transactional data to ensure consistency and integrity across all settlement activities.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational workflows and resolve complex settlement-related queries.
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in settlement operations within the banking sector, demonstrating a proven track record of operational success.
- Comprehensive knowledge of key settlement systems, including RTGS, SWIFT, XACT, and CCASS, with the ability to navigate and optimize their functionalities.
- In-depth expertise in treasury products, with a particular emphasis on fixed income and derivative instruments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a calm and patient demeanor to foster collaborative relationships.
- Exceptional time management and self-discipline to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Mandarin highly desirable.
