About the Opportunity
Our client, a global leader in the digital assets and Web3 ecosystem, is on a mission to redefine how millions engage with decentralized finance and onchain experiences.

We are seeking a visionary Head of Product Design, Web3 (APAC) to lead the next evolution of their design strategy — bridging CeFi, Wallet, and DeFi into one cohesive, clarity-first ecosystem.

In this senior leadership role, you will:

Define and scale design experiences across Web3, harmonizing usability and trust within an advanced trading and onchain ecosystem.
Shape design for products spanning Wallet, DEX, Growth, and DeFi, lowering barriers for first-time users while supporting sophisticated traders and institutions.
Champion a design vision that merges regulatory compliance, creative agility, and intuitive UX.
Unify design systems and brand identity across regions, driving expansion and adoption across APAC and global markets.

What You’ll Be Doing Leadership & People Management

Build, scale, and inspire a multi-regional product design organization across APAC and beyond.
Mentor senior design leaders, cultivate a high-performance and high-integrity design culture.
Establish strong performance frameworks with measurable outcomes tied to business impact.

Design & Strategy

Craft a unified Web3 design strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term “everything onchain” vision.
Translate complex blockchain and DeFi systems into intuitive, human-centered user journeys.
Drive excellence across mobile, desktop, wallet extensions, APIs, and emerging platforms.
Develop and scale a global design system ensuring alignment, scalability, and design quality.
Embed design success metrics directly into key business KPIs — from user growth to AUM and transaction volume.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and R&D to deliver customer-centric, market-leading experiences.
Act as a strategic design advisor to senior executives, influencing direction through product insights and creative strategy.
Serve as a bridge between global product and regional design teams.

Domain-Specific Responsibilities

Lead design for DeFi, Wallet, and Growth products to drive frictionless user adoption.
Define frameworks for growth and ecosystem engagement, including token utility and community design.
Champion trust, transparency, and compliance while embracing creative flexibility.
Stay ahead of Web3, crypto, and DeFi trends, ensuring design leadership within the space.

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of design experience, including 5+ years in senior or organizational leadership roles.
Proven experience in scaling and managing global design teams with multiple leadership layers.
Deep expertise in product design systems, UX strategy, and brand identity.
Strong cultural adaptability — capable of leading cross-regional and multicultural teams.
Excellent strategic leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated resilience in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
Web3 native — deep understanding of crypto-native user behavior, DeFi, and wallet ecosystems.
Bilingual proficiency (English & Chinese) required for cross-market collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
