Our client is one of the well-known banks in Hong Kong with a strong presence in retail and corporate banking around the globe. They are looking for a Data scientist to join the digital banking team and help us analyze and optimize digital assets performance, customer journey, and online sales funnel. You will be responsible for applying data science and machine learning techniques to various aspects of our digital banking products and services, such as web and mobile applications, chatbots, online transactions, and customer feedback.

Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze data from various sources, such as web analytics, customer behavior, transaction records, and feedback surveys
- Build and deploy predictive models and algorithms to identify patterns, trends, and insights from the data
- Measure and evaluate the performance and impact of our digital assets and customer journey on our online sales funnel and business objectives
- Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and optimization of our digital assets and customer journey
- Communicate and present data findings and solutions to stakeholders and senior management
- Collaborate with other data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver data-driven solutions
- Proven experience as a data scientist or a similar role in the banking or FS sector
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other data analysis and visualization tools
- Proficiency in Business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Data Studio)
- Knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical methods
- Experience in web and mobile analytics, digital marketing, and online sales funnel optimization
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and a customer-oriented mindset
- Degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
