Job description

As a Project Manager, you will play a central role in driving operational transformation through strategic project execution. This position requires a strong blend of business acumen, technical oversight, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively, on schedule, and with measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Lead the development of detailed project plans, monitor progress, and proactively resolve risks and issues to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including business stakeholders, IT, and external vendors—to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals
  • Manage and execute change initiatives to support smooth rollouts and user adoption of new processes or systems.
  • Support senior management in project governance, post-implementation reviews, and recommendations for future initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis and project management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and independent work style.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Solid understanding of life insurance operations and business processes.
